Specialist knowledge in the development and production of technical compounds lays the foundation for the excellent cooperation between hapego plastics GmbH and Kays Kft. We guarantee consistent product quality in cooperation with Kays through the use of wear-protected twin-screw extruders and experience in the production of compounds specially developed according to the customer requirements. The family business has been concentrating on the development of high-quality polymers for the automotive, electrical and household goods industries since 2009. Working with Hans-Peter Angenendt, Managing Director of hapego plastics, Kays has developed its own product families that promise tailor-made solutions for every application. Kays compounds are based on ABS, PC, PA6, PA6.6, PA6/6.6, PBT and blends based on polycarbonate (PC), PC/ABS, PC/PBT, PC/ASA as well as blends based on polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and PBT/ASA. All Kay compounds are available in both natural colours and other desired colours on request. The Kays product families include:

  • Kay com: High-quality standard compounds and modified blends in unreinforced or reinforced versions (e.g. with glass fibres, glass beads, carbon fibres or minerals), heat or UV stabilised.
  • Kay tech: Specially modified compounds that are impact-resistant or have additionally improved sliding properties.
  • Kay conduct: Compounds that are permanently antistatic or electrically conductive.
  • Kayflam: Flame-retardant compounds of various flame-retardant classes according to UL94, with halogen or halogen-free.
